THE GODHEAD!!!!!

ROMANS 1:19-21

19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. 20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: 21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

COLOSSIANS 2:8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. 9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.

ACTS 17:29 Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man’s device.30 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:GENESIS 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

GENESIS 2:21 And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;22 And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.

JOB 33:4 The Spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life

NOTE: WE FIND THAT THE SPIRIT,GOD IS THE FEMALE ,JUST LIKE EVE WAS TAKEN OUT OF ADAM, THE SPIRIT WAS TAKEN OUT OF THE BEING THAT BECAME JESUS. HIS NAME AT THE TIME WAS YEHOVIH. AND HER NAME WAS YEHOVAH. THEY ARE THE ONES THAT SAID LET US MAKE MAN IN OUR IMAGE.

Proverbs 8:12 I wisdom dwell with prudence, and find out knowledge of witty inventions. 22 The LORD possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old.23 I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was. 24 When there were no depths, I was brought forth; when there were no fountains abounding with water.25 Before the mountains were settled, before the hills was I brought forth:26 While as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the highest part of the dust of the world. SOLOMON, IN THE BOOK OF THE WISDOM OF SOLOMON,SAYS THAT HE WILL TELL US WHO WISDOM IS:CHAPTER 6:12 Wisdom is radiant and unfading, and she is easily discerned by those who love her,and is found by those who seek her.

13 She hastens to make herself known to those who desire her.14 One who rises early to seek her will have no difficulty, for she will be found sitting at the gate.15 To fix one's thought on her is perfect understanding, and one who is vigilant on her account will soon be free from care, 16 because she goes about seeking those worthy of her,and she graciously appears to them in their paths,

and meets them in every thought. 17 The beginning of wisdom is the most sincere desire for instruction, and concern for instruction is love of her,18 and love of her is the keeping of her laws, and giving heed to her laws is assurance of immortality,19 and immortality brings one near to God;

20 so the desire for wisdom leads to a kingdom. 22 I will tell you what wisdom is and how she came to be, and I will hide no secrets from you,but I will trace her course from the beginning of creation,

and make knowledge of her clear, and I will not pass by the truth;23 nor will I travel in the company of sickly envy, for envy does not associate with wisdom.24 The multitude of the wise is the salvation of the world, and a sensible king is the stability of any people

CHAPTER 7:7 Therefore I prayed, and understanding was given me; I called on God, and the spirit , wisdom came to me.8 I preferred her to scepters and thrones, and I accounted wealth as nothing in comparison with her.9 Neither did I liken to her any priceless gem, because all gold is but a little sand in her sight, and silver will be accounted as clay before her.10 I loved her more than health and beauty,

and I chose to have her rather than light, because her radiance never ceases. 11 All good things came to me along with her,and in her hands uncounted wealth.

12 I rejoiced in them all, because wisdom leads them;but I did not know that she was their mother.

13 I learned without guile and I impart without grudging;I do not hide her wealth,

14 for it is an unfailing treasure for mortals;those who get it obtain friendship with God,

commended for the gifts that come from instruction. 15 May God grant me to speak with judgment, and to have thoughts worthy of what I have received; for he is the guide even of wisdom and the corrector of the wise.16 For both we and our words are in his hand,as are all understanding and skill in crafts.17 For it is he who gave me unerring knowledge of what exists, to know the structure of the world and the activity of the elements; 18 the beginning and end and middle of times, the alternations of the solstices and the changes of the seasons,19 the cycles of the year and the constellations of the stars,20 the natures of animals and the tempers of wild animals, the powers of spirits and the thoughts of human beings, the varieties of plants and the virtues of roots; 21 I learned both what is secret and what is manifest,22 for wisdom, the fashioner of all things, taught me. There is in her a spirit that is intelligent, holy, unique, manifold, subtle, mobile, clear, unpolluted, distinct, invulnerable, loving the good, keen, irresistible, 23 beneficent, humane, steadfast, sure, free from anxiety,all-powerful, overseeing all, and penetrating through all spirits that are intelligent, pure, and altogether subtle.24 For wisdom is more mobile than any motion;because of her pureness she pervades and penetrates all things.25 For she is a breath of the power of God, and a pure emanation of the glory of the Almighty; therefore nothing defiled gains entrance into her.26 For she is a reflection of eternal light, a spotless mirror of the working of God, and an image of his goodness.27 Although she is but one, she can do all things, and while remaining in herself, she renews all things; in every generation she passes into holy souls and makes them friends of God, and prophets;28 for God loves nothing so much as the person who lives with wisdom.29 She is more beautiful than the sun, and excels every constellation of the stars. Compared with the light she is found to be superior,30 for it is succeeded by the night, but against wisdom evil does not prevail. CHAPTER 8:1 She reaches mightily from one end of the earth to the other, and she orders all things well. 2 I loved her and sought her from my youth; I desired to take her for my bride, and became enamored of her beauty. 3 She glorifies her noble birth by living with God,and the Lord of all loves her.4 For she is an initiate in the knowledge of God,and an associate in his works.5 If riches are a desirable possession in life, what is richer than wisdom, the active cause of all things? 6 And if understanding is effective, who more than she is fashioner of what exists? 7 And if anyone loves righteousness, her labors are virtues; for she teaches self-control and prudence, justice and courage;nothing in life is more profitable for mortals than these. 8 And if anyone longs for wide experience, she knows the things of old, and infers the things to come;she understands turns of speech and the solutions of riddles;she has foreknowledge of signs and wondersand of the outcome of seasons and times. IN CHAPTER 10:15- 20 HE TELLS US ,WISDOM IS THE CLOUD BY DAY AND THE FIRE BY NIGHT..SOLOMON SAYS THAT WISDOM DID EVERYTHING THAT THE KING JAMES BIBLE SAYS THAT JEHOVAH DOES .THAT TELLS ME THAT JEHOVAH AND WISDOM IS ONE AND THE SAME PERSON,OR DEITY.

NUMBER 1 THE FATHER: JOHN17:24 Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.25 O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me.26 And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.

NUMBER 2 THE MOTHER: JOHN 14: 16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; NOTE: THE COMFORTER IS YOUR SPIRITUAL MOTHER. 17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him:

but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. THIS SHOULD READ THE SPIRIT , ALETHEIA:WHOM THE WORLD CANNOT RECEIVE, BECAUSE IT SEES HER NOT, NEITHER KNOWS HER: BUT YOU KNOW HER: FOR SHE DWELLS WITH YOU, AND SHALL BE IN YOU. 23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. NOTE : THAT IS HOW THAT JESUS AND THE FATHER CAN BE IN HEAVEN AND BE IN YOU AT THE SAME TIME, IT IS THEIR MATES THAT ARE DOWN HERE TAKING CARE OF THE CHILDREN.THEIR MATES WERE BROUGHT FORTH OUT OF THEM , THE SAME AS EVE WAS BROUGHT FORTH OUT OF ADAM.

26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, She shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.JOHN 15: 26 But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, the Spirit,ALETHEIA , which proceedeth from the Father, She shall testify of me:

JOHN 16: 7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send hER unto you. NOTE: IT IMPORTANT TO REALIZE THAT THE HOLY SPIRIT OF THE FATHER DID NOT EXIST AT THIS TIME IS THE REASON SHE COULD NOT COME.

IN JOHN 16: 13 HE TELLS YOU WHY YOU DO NOT KNOW ALETHEIA, 13 Howbeit when She, the Spirit, ALETHEIA, is come, She will guide you into all truth: for She shall not speak of hERself; but whatsoever She shall hear, that shall She speak: and She will shew you things to come.

Note: JESUS SAID THAT HE TOLD THE DISCIPLES WHAT THE FATHER’S NAME WAS.

YOU FIND WHEN JESUS TAUGHT THE DISCIPLES HOW TO PRAY HE TOLD THEM WHO TO PRAY TO: OUR FATHER WHO IS IN HEAVEN, HAGIAZO IS YOUR NAME.

HAGIAZO MEANS HALLOWED OR TO MAKE HOLY WHICH MEANS THAT IT IS THE FATHER WHO MAKES US HOLY. IN THE LORD’S PRAYER IS THE ONLY PLACE IN THE BIBLE THAT THE FATHER’S NAME IS IN THE BIBLE.IN OTHER PLACES YOU WILL SEE HIM CALLED ABBA FATHER WHICH MEANS FATHER OF ALL FATHERS. IN MATTHEW WE ARE TOLD: MATTHEW 23:8 But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren.9 And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.10 Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ.11 But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant.12 And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.

ROMANS 1:19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.

GENESIS 1: 26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. 27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

GENESIS 2: 18 And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him. 19 And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof. 20 And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him. 21 And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; 22 And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. 23 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman because she was taken out of Man. 24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife:[ and they shall be one flesh.] 25 And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.

Note: how did adam know about a father or mother unless he had one

To leave. So adam left his father and mother for eve.

John 5:19 Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.20 For the Father loveth the Son, and sheweth him all things that himself doeth: and he will shew him greater works than these, that ye may marvel.21 For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son quickeneth whom he will.22 For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son:23 That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.25 Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.26 For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself;27 And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man. 28 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.30 I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.

31 If I bear witness of myself, my witness is not true.32 There is another that beareth witness of me; and I know that the witness which he witnesseth of me is true.33 Ye sent unto John, and he bare witness unto the truth.34 But I receive not testimony from man: but these things I say, that ye might be saved.35 He was a burning and a shining light: and ye were willing for a season to rejoice in his light.

36 But I have greater witness than that of John: for the works which the Father hath given me to finish, the same works that I do, bear witness of me, that the Father hath sent me.37 And the Father himself, which hath sent me, hath borne witness of me. Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape. 38 And ye have not his word abiding in you: for whom he hath sent, him ye believe not.39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.40 And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.41 I receive not honour from men.42 But I know you, that ye have not the love of God in you.43 I am come in my Father’s name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.44 How can ye believe, which receive honour one of another, and seek not the honour that cometh from God only?45 Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father: there is one that accuseth you, even Moses, in whom ye trust.46 For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me.47 But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words?

John 6:26 Jesus answered them and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Ye seek me, not because ye saw the miracles, but because ye did eat of the loaves, and were filled.27 Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.

28 Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? 29 Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent. 30 They said therefore unto him, What sign shewest thou then, that we may see, and believe thee? what dost thou work?31 Our fathers did eat manna in the desert; as it is written, He gave them bread from heaven to eat.32 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but my Father giveth you the true bread from heaven.33 For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world. 34 Then said they unto him, Lord, evermore give us this bread.35 And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.36 But I said unto you, That ye also have seen me, and believe not.37 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.39 And this is the Father’s will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day. 43 Jesus therefore answered and said unto them, Murmur not among yourselves.44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.45 It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me.46 Not that any man hath seen the Father, save he which is of God, he hath seen the Father.47 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.48 I am that bread of life.49 Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead.50 This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die.51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world. 53 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.54 Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.55 For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.56 He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.57 As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me.58 This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever. 65 And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father. 70 Jesus answered them, Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil?

John 7:16 Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me. 18 He that speaketh of himself seeketh his own glory: but he that seeketh his glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him. 37 In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.39 (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.) Note: the word, given ,should not be in the word because it destorys

The meaning to the scripture. The scripture says : the holy ghost was not yet.

Which means she did not exist , she had not been brought forth from the father. Jesus had to receive the power from the father before he could bring aletheia Into existence. Man has destroyed god’s idenity by putting the definition of god’s name in the bible instead of his and her name. Jesus has a mate and so does the father . Man calls them : the spirit of wisdom and the spirit of truth But should read the spirit , sophia and the spirit, aletheia. that was the reason christ could not marry when he was here, because he already had a mate. She was known as jehovah in the old testament. And his name was jehovih in the old testament. He was also known as melchisedec.

1 peter 1:10 Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you:11 Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.12 Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into.

Here we see the spirit of christ which is sophia was in the prophets of the old the testament and that the holy ghost, which was aletheia ,was in them which preached the gospel in the new testament.

John 8:31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. Note: this verse should read like this,

You shall know aletheia, and aletheia shall make you free. 34 Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.35 And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever.36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.37 I know that ye are Abraham’s seed; but ye seek to kill me, because my word hath no place in you.38 I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and ye do that which ye have seen with your father.39 They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham’s children, ye would do the works of Abraham.40 But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham.41 Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God.42 Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.43 Why do ye not understand my speech? Even because ye cannot hear my word.44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. 45 And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.

46 Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me?47 He that is of God heareth God’s words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God. Note: the word beginning means from his very first existence , proves that he could not be lucifer, because lucifer was rightous in his being. This means that god had to have created the devil as the devil, just like christ told his disciples that one of them was a devil.

48 Then answered the Jews, and said unto him, Say we not well that thou art a Samaritan, and hast a devil?49 Jesus answered, I have not a devil; but I honour my Father, and ye do dishonour me.50 And I seek not mine own glory: there is one that seeketh and judgeth.

51 Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death. Note: christ is talking about the second death, because we know that all die and then comes the judgement. Most people are not close enough to god to understand the things that christ says.

54 Jesus answered, If I honour myself, my honour is nothing: it is my Father that honoureth me; of whom ye say, that he is your God:55 Yet ye have not known him; but I know him: and if I should say, I know him not, I shall be a liar like unto you: but I know him, and keep his saying.56 Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad.57 Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham?58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am. Note: The ,i am, in exodus moses said , the angel , jehovih was the I am. Exodus 3: 1 Now Moses kept the flock of Jethro his father in law, the priest of Midian: and he led the flock to the backside of the desert, and came to the mountain of God, even to Horeb.2 And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed.3 And Moses said, I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt.4 And when the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I. 13 And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them?14 And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.15 And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations.

Note: the angel of the lord , was the angel, jehovih. The words ,of the, were not in the hebrew text, they were added by the people that translated the bible. In the book of hebrews it says : hebrews 1:5 For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son? 9 Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows. Note: the words thy fellows means all the other angels. Also in the old testament, when it says, I kings 14: 7 Go, tell Jeroboam, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Forasmuch as I exalted thee from among the people, and made thee prince over my people Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD;

The word lord is jehovah and the word god is jehovih, which means that it is the feminine jehovah speaking for the male jehovih. Because this is a title for the female and male gods, meaning the eternal beings.and again in hebrews it tells us these were angels, hebrews 2:2 For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward;3 How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him; NOTE: SO WE SEE THE ANGELS JEHOVAH AND JEHOVIH BECAME THE SON AND DAUGHTER OF GOD THROUGH THE RESURRECTION OF CHRIST. ROMANS 1:4 declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead: ROMANS 4:17 (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead,

and calleth those things which be not as though they were. GOD CALLED THEM HIS SON AND DAUGHTER EVEN BEFORE THEY WERE.the same as he does for us in the book of 1 john 3: 1 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. 2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. 3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.

Genesis 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul

Job 33:4 The Spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life. Note: we see that the lord god in genesis and the spirit of god in job do the construction of the person which is the feminine god and the male god breathed the breath of life into the person ,so it was a joint effect. Jehovih and jehovah were the elohiym of the old testament. They were the father and mother of adam and eve. TWO OTHER NAME THAT THEY WENT BY 113 IN THE STRONG’S CONCORDANCE AND 136.

The Controversy - Circumcision and Social Intercourse
By Pastor Pat

In opening the annuals of church History, we soon discover that when a controversy arises within the halls of the church there begins an extreme understanding or misunderstanding of the issues themselves and how it will affect the norm. Today just as in the days of Paul, change is not welcome. Especially when that change goes against the very fiber of set laws and doctrine.

Between the first and second journals of Paul, just such a controversy is still debated behind close doors by scholars and learned men of doctrine and history. We will explore what has become the biggest conflict between Jews and Christians throughout the last 2000 years. The issues of Gentile freedom (Acts 15: 1-41) that overflowed within the very fibers of the church of Antioch as well as in Jerusalem (acts 15 1-5). Over the years as with many issues affecting our structures the actual reason such a controversy arose has been lost to deaf ears for no other reason than they refused to hear the foundation of the conflict. Driving deeper into the words of Acts 15 you begin to realize it is a narrative looking for a meaning that Luke gives us is they represent the minimum of the Law of Moses whish was required from the Gentiles in lieu of circumcision. Going even deeper into the word and rattling the pages of church history this problem was rooted far deeper than just circumcision rooted and actually dealt with social intercourse between Jews and Gentiles.

Further study of the events leading up to the council of Jerusalem practically in the light of the way the events unfold and the accounts within Acts, as well as the book of Galatians makes it clear that this there was in fact two issues in dispute. Even tho in the book of Acts Luke does not separate the two.

Beginning in Acts 15: 1-2, we see representations of the ulta-Judarstic party (A group devoted to adopt Jewish customs and beliefs.) who insisted that the new Gentile converts should be circumcised before admission into the church. This group had arrived in Antioch from Jerusalem. It was brought to the attention of the council these converts had been treated in the same way as the God-fearing Gentiles in the Jewish communities of dispersion: ( Jewish people within communities of Jews within the Roman empire) They were admitted to worship without being circumcised, and in addition the Gentile Christians were being baptized as were the Jewish converts. However, this Baptism was becoming to be a substitute for circumcision, as Jewish converted-baptism. The Judarstic party whose members in site of Paula;s bitterness may have been sincere men, regarding this as an invocation that would denationalize the Jewish Gospel, turning the Messiah into a non-Jewish 'Savior' and make salvation an individual matter instead of being the privilege of Israel.

So the challenge became unless you are circumcised according to the laws of Moses you cannot be saved. The Jews adopted circumcision as a religious ritual7 and preserved this prehistoric practice into modern times. The circumcision of Abraham removed only the very tip that extended beyond the glans penis. Moses and his sons were not circumcised. (Exodus 4:25) Although Moses apparently prohibited circumcision during the 40 years in the wilderness, (Joshua 5:5) Joshua reinstituted circumcision at Gilgal after the death of Moses (Joshua 5:2-10) It is interesting to note that after the Israelites were circumcised, they immediately became soldiers in Joshua's army for the conquest of Palestine. (Joshua 6:1-3) On the basic of south Galatians, theory we can suppose that the trouble arose not only in Antioch but extended also to Paul's newly founded Galatians churches.

As recorded in Gal. 2: 11-14, and about the same time trouble arose in Antioch concerning the question of social intercourse between Jewish and Gentiles Christians. A very essentially different problem. This had been brought to a head by the inconsistency of Peter himself, who before the arrival of the delegates from Jerusalem, 'before certain men came from James ate with Gentiles; but when they came he drew and separated himself. Fearing the circumcision party.' (Gal. 2: 12) The identification of the visit of Gal. 2: 10 with the famine visits of Acts 11:30 makes in possible to date Paul's dispute with Peter at Antioch.

The council of Jerusalem: Acts 15: 1-35 Gives us insight into the success of Paul and Barabas in Asia Minor making it clear that Christianity could never be confined within the borders of Palestine and it raised the practical question: If Gentiles are to become Christians must they first become Jews? In other words, must one be circumcised before they are baptized? The question was not a new one; it had come up many times before as the case of Cornelius.

Acts 10 & 11

Peter and Corndius These two men are the least of people you would expect to be drawn together. First Cornelius was a gentile and Peter a Jew, and they were a world apart from one another. Cornelius was a high-ranking officer of the Roman Empire and peter having no rank at all except he was a follower of the carpenter who was put to death by Pontius Pilate. Cornelius was a man of the world; peter tho was a county boy with little or no knowledge outside of his province of Galilee, until the Christian movement threw him on the worldwide stage. Cornelius was a professional soldier; Peter was a laboring man, humble in nature.

The more one marvels at the fact of these world apart men coming together you realize there is no rime or reason they should of, nevertheless they would unite their efforts. What could possibly bring these two together? The basic could have been circumstances, yet on the other hand, we see that Peter had been turning repeatedly in his mind the question of the relationship of the new Christian movement to the rest of the world...

Being raised within the barriers of Judaism made it difficult. Yet the more he tossed the question and lived in association with Jesus, the more the spirit of Jesus dwelt in him, the more suspicious he became of the barriers, which separated Jews from the rest of the world. There was no deliberate act of thought on his part as it was a gradual growth into a deeper understanding of the solidarity of the children of god. As time went by him, he became more and more impatient with the lines that had been drawn between secular things, between unclean things and circular things. If god was the creator of all things, then how could one thing be more acceptance than any other could? What right did men have to draw lines beyond God's care and interest of which you could not and would not pass? The deeper Peter plunged into the truth he found in Jesus the more he refuse to confine himself to the artificial boundaries of Judaism. He was discovering that even tho born and raised a Jew, he came to the point that his institution cannot contain the spirit of God, it can only convey it.

Cornelius on the other hand is and entirely a different man. As described by Luke in the book of Acts he was a religious man. He held all impulses that are associated with religion. He accepted the fact of God and did not hesitate to say his prayers. He was generous to his fellow man regarded by his peers as a man of integrity. Tho a Gentile he was not allowed into the inner sanctuary of a synagogue yet he stood on the fringe of it. He was more like those we see today who have religious temperament but have no church ties. His devout spirit was not committed to and doctrine concept.

Yet each of these men had what the other needed. Peter held all the strength of an institutional religion and needed to be set free of its confines, while Cornelius had all the freedom of the religious spirit of the Gentile and needed the supporting framework on institutional religion giving him spirit discipline and direction. The situation of these two men are dramatized by Luke with Petera's dissatisfaction within Judaism and his final acknowledgment of God's sovereignty are again dramatized in the story of the trance in which he saw let down from heaven a sheet that contained all shorts of creatures clean and unclean. As Cornelius increasing since of insufficiency of his religious life is put in the dramatic form of a vision in which he was directed by a angel to seek out a man called Peter who could show him how to link his understanding of his own religious genius with the life and influence of Jesus. Of course, in drawing the picture Luke is saying that Peter and Cornelius were brought together not by natural circumstances, but by the hand of God. While trying to make it clear these two men were brought together not by their efforts or by the drift of human events but by the specific intention will of God.

However, as so often happens the church did not answer the question until it was forced to. The answer could no longer be postponed. The increasing number of Gentiles converts under the leadership of Paul and Barnabas demanded an answer. Hence, the council was called...

The leaders of the church must have been well aware of the fact that the question had dynamite in it; to an outsider the discussion may have looked like a dispute relatively unimportant ceremonial practices. Baptism versus circumcision was a debate of which the outcome was doubtless a matter of indifference to the average intelligent citizen of the Roman Empire. Nevertheless, it was so much the practice that mattered; it was the issue that was behind it. Is its Jewish setting and frame a context apart from which it neither has meaning nor power, or is it a cocoon which, once it has served it creative purpose must be abandoned if the church is to fulfill its role as a world-wide religion.

Paul and Barnabas leave the council after they made their report and knew that circumcision was not to be require of the Gentile converts yet they had to keep the moral laws and food laws out of respect for the Jews of whom they might be associated with. Soon after the council of Jerusalem Paul and Barnabas separate company of a conflict with John Mark and takes up with Silas into Asia Minor.

Sometimes it seems that things seem to take so long for a decision to be made within the church yet if we look at the mystery of which God works we realize that sometimes slowness is the best route to take. Exploring all the avenues of the issue in question and its outcome is time consuming yet somehow within the mystery of men and god they fall together for the better good. The next section will be the beginning of the second journey.

Universal Life Church - Wedding - Judi Ketteler and Allen Raines’ August wedding will not be traditional by any stretch of the imagination.

The Madeira couple’s ceremony will take place at the Cincinnati Museum Center at Union Terminal rather than a church. They won’t have bridesmaids or groomsmen because they didn’t want to choose among many family members and friends and risk making someone feel left out.

And performing the ceremony will be their friend Tim Linneman, a 35-year-old market researcher from Glendale who recently became an ordained minister through the Modesto, Calif.-based Universal Life Church with little more than a click of a mouse.

“We’re not religious at all, and we didn’t want to do the wedding in a church,” said 32-year-old Ketteler, a freelance writer and editor. “And we didn’t really want to go to a courthouse and have a judge do it. We wanted someone who knows us.”

The Universal Life Church will ordain just about anyone, free of charge, after they fill out a form on any of the church’s Web sites and click “Ordain me.”

It sounds like a joke, but the church is real – and growing fast.

The Universal Life Church has more active, registered ministers in Greater Cincinnati – more than 230 – than any other denomination except the Catholic Church, according to the Ohio Secretary of State. That number is triple what it was in 2003. (Kentucky does not maintain a registry of ministers, but 65 Universal Life Church ministers in Kentucky have asked to be listed on the church’s Web site.) About 70 percent of people who become ordained through the Universal Life Church do so for the same reason Linneman did – to officiate at weddings, said Universal Life Church President Andre Hensley.

Ketteler and Raines asked Linneman, Raines’ friend of 15 years, to do the honors after attending Linneman’s own wedding last year. Linneman and his wife, Erin, used a friend who is a Universal Life Church minister and a friend who was a seminary student to perform their ceremony.

“I thought it went great. I loved having our friends involved,” Tim Linneman said. “My family is mainly Catholic and so are most of my friends, so I’ve been to a lot of very long weddings. I think people appreciated that it was pretty short.”

Ketteler and Raines said their families understand their decision.

“No one freaked out,” Ketteler said. “My family might be happier if we were doing it a little bit differently, but they also respect that this is what we want to do.”

Andre Hensley’s late father, Kirby Hensley, officially incorporated the Universal Life Church with the state of California in 1962, offering free, lifetime ordainments with no questions asked. The Web site launched in 1995, and today there are about 18 million ordained Universal Life Church ministers worldwide, Hensley said.

The church ordains 8,000-10,000 ministers every month through several different Web sites and the mail, advertising itself largely through word of mouth.

“Couples just want to have it their own way, rather than go to a minister they don’t already know,” Hensley said.

Church staff members have denied ordainment requests, if they believe someone has submitted a false name or has filled out the form on a lark, Hensley said. But they approve most applications.

“We’re like every other church,” Hensley said. “We have to take things on faith.”
People seek ordination through the Universal Life Church for all different reasons. Vicki Whitewolf-Marsh, who recently moved from Cincinnati to Alabama, became a Universal Life Church minister so she could pray with other Native Americans in Cincinnati-area hospitals and perform smudging ceremonies, which involve burning herbs for purification purposes.
Whitewolf-Marsh, 50, said some hospitals told her that she couldn’t perform the ceremony unless she was a clergyperson.

“This way, I can hold my head up and say I’m with a religious community and I’m a minister,” said Whitewolf-Marsh, who also has performed weddings and a funeral.

Some Universal Life Church ministers have turned their new titles into part-time jobs.
Joyce Engelman of Union, Ky., who operates the Big Bone Landing, Marina & Campground, has performed about 40 weddings at the marina since she got ordained about two years ago because she thought it would be fun to officiate at weddings.

“Usually people I marry, they’re older, or they’re younger and pregnant,” said Engelman, 57, who charges $50 per wedding. “And a lot of people been married a couple of times and they’ve already had the frills, so honestly they don’t care.”

Sam Lapin, a speech communication professor at Northern Kentucky University, became ordained five years ago for the same reason.

The 43-year-old Burlington resident markets himself by leaving business cards at county clerks’ offices and popular ceremony locations. Lapin, whose fees start at $100 per ceremony, has performed more than 40 weddings in the past two years for couples who aren’t part of any organized religion or who are planning nontraditional ceremonies.

That’s why 40-year-old Melissa Sibert and 43-year-old Steve Huber of Amelia contacted Lapin. Sibert says they struggled to find a minister for their July 7 wedding on the 18th hole of the golf course at Belterra Casino Resort & Spa, where they’ve celebrated birthdays and other special occasions, until the casino gave them Lapin’s name. It will be the third marriage for each.

“A lot of people won’t give someone a chance if they don’t know you,” Sibert sad. “(Lapin) put together the whole ceremony and e-mailed it to me, and I cried. It was really special.”

Lapin hopes there will be more unique weddings.

“I do have an Elvis outfit,” said Lapin, who also teaches a course on the history of rock ‘n’ roll. “I’m hoping to make use of that some day.”

Evening and Morning
In Him By Him Through Him

Gen 1:1-5 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. ..
And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And
the evening and the morning were the first day.

The progression of events on God's Calendar is simply this, it gets
better and better.

No matter how bad it may seem, the end result is that we can rest in
the fact that there is a great punch line. From our Human
Perspective is summed up in statements like…

It's all down hill from here,
Over the Hill.
It don't get any better than that, The Good Ole Days.

We live in a mindset that the past was Glorious and the Future is
Gloomy.

Why do we feel that way? Because that is what we see. That is what
many of you have experienced. In fact we can look in the mirror and
see some evidence that this may be true. Just let me clue you in,
that that is Stinking Thinking

God's View is Evening and Morning. No matter the darkness that
approaches there is a New Day Coming.

In the Last Supper Jesus warned them that dark days approached. I
can see the overcast sky and the night quickly approaching as they
entered into that Fateful Garden for the Last time. This place that
was the common place of prayer in the Life of Christ, we find it to
be the place of an origination of a sequence of events that would
catapult the world into the Darkest of Times.

As his Disciples slept, Jesus Prayed. He prayed like a man with a
death sentence. As he finished praying one of his trusted followers
approached him, kissed him and in that action betrayed him. As his
disciples melted into the darkness to escape the obvious trouble,
Jesus was led forth. In that darkness of that Night, one of his Bold
Disciples denied him. No sooner had this dark moment came, the sun
broke over the horizon in that the Rooster began to crow.

Jesus is passed around the thrones of power like a hot potato; no
one wanting to be responsible for what they knew must be done. Even
the Jewish High priest prophesied that a Man would die for the Jews.
When given an opportunity to give their King a crown of acceptance
they with one voice rejected him and damned him to die a death of
unspeakable cruelty.

As Pilate washed his hands of Jesus, Jesus began to endure an
amazing example of what love he had for you. As the day waned, we
find Jesus struggling under the load of a cruel tree. When he
finally is nailed on and lifted up, and his death rapidly
approaches, Jesus forgives his persecutors and promises paradise to
a thief.

The Darkness of death is so great; we cannot even perceive what it
is. No one wants to die. No one wants someone they Love to die.
Imagine when the Man that represented all your Faith, and that Man
died a Humiliating and Shameful Death.

Darkness.

We must Remind ourselves, It is Evening and Morning.

We spend our time in the middle of Evening and Morning. In that
unsettled place of Darkness. To truly appreciate the Light, you must
experience the darkness of Night.

Truly Jesus Rose from the Dead. After 40 Days walking, talking and
showing himself, he went away. He left. He was taken up and his
promise was. I am coming back.

We are living in the middle of Evening and Morning. The principle of
Christ, found in his teaching and his passion is that it gets better.

When the prophets of doom and gloom forecast that the worst is
coming, be of good cheer. WE must be able to see past the obvious
future and see the future that Faith brings.

Will we have trouble?
Will there be great controversy? Will we be tried and tempted? Will
we suffer in some manner?

Jesus is the ultimate object lesson for you and I. Consider him who

The answer to all of these questions is yes. However we must stretch
our faith to see the founder of all there is and know that God sees
beyond our Evening and night. You know what he sees? He sees morning.

Weeping may endure for the night, but Joy comes in the Morning.

In Him, By Him, Through Him,

Scott Phillips

Online Sermons

By Rev. Thomas L. Lewis Sr.
God loves you

Grace and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ,

It is with a glad heart that I welcome you this morning, for those who are visiting and for those who are home, I greet you in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It is truly a good thing to know that with all the hell going on in the world, we have been given a place to come to, where we are made safe.  Truly we serve a loving and merciful God. A GOD WHO IN SPITE OF OURSELVES, LOVES US. A GOD WHO IN SPITE OF OURSELVES, CARES FOR US. A GOD WHO IN SPITE OF OURSELVES, SENT HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, to die for us.
Truly a loving and merciful God.

choir: "Your grace and mercy brought me through, I'm living this moment because of you and I want to thank you and praise to cause your grace and mercy brought me through."

(music playing softly) Father God I thank this morning for the preaching moment, for this a teaching moment, but surely not a moment for me, but a moment for you to come a dwell with your children, Father I pray that you would touch my hands that they may do the healing you have called them to do, touch my heart that it may remain pure, touch my mind that it may only think on those things which are good, touch my ears that they may here what the spirit has to say to the church, touch my eyes that they may be focused upon
your cross, and then Father touch my lips which you molded of clay that they may speak with thus sayeth
the Lord. Father God give these words power in the proclamation, POWER TO DO HEALING, POWER TO SET THE CAPTIVES AT LIBERTY, POWER TO GIVE PEACE to a weary soul. Come holy spirit with all thine quickening power and shed abroad a savior's love in these cold hearts of ours, AMEN, Amen, and amen.

If you will open your Bibles to the second Epistle Paul had written to the church in Corinth for those
who are not word literate second Corinthians chpt.4 versus 8 and 9. while you are searching your
scriptures let me sing these few words " Falling in love with Jesus, falling in love in with Jesus, falling in love with Jesus is the best thing I ever, ever done, In His arms I feel protected, in His arms I feel protected, in His arms I feel protected and there's no place I'd rather, rather be." All being on one accord let us stand in reverence to Gods word. Here Paul records these words "We are Troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;....." May God add a blessing to the reading and hearing of his most holy word,
Amen.

Look to your neighbor, say neighbor oh neighbor is there a but in your life. I won't be before you long BUT, for a few minutes I would like to speak to you from the topic the BUT factor.

Here Paul writes to a troubled church to let them know that in there affliction, that God still gives
comfort. That we are not forgotten in the midst of our troubles, he reassures that God who sits on high is
still looking on low, that God is concerned about his children. that in every life there is going to be some
trouble, there's going Tobe SOME BILLS WE CAN'T PAY, THREATS OF EVICTION, SOME SICKNESS WE CAN'T HEAL, SOME PAIN WE MUST ENDURE, SOME CHILDREN WHO DON'T LISTEN, AN UNCARING SPOUSE, FRIENDS WHO TURN THEIR BACKS AT
THE WRONG TIME, AND FOR ALL OF THIS TROUBLE GOD GAVE US A BUT, YES A BUT, when he said yes, I will be your provider, I will be your healer, I will be your comforter. right here and we've just scratched the surface.

Then Paul goes on to say we are perplexed, BUT not in despair. Perplexed is a state of confusion but God
said that I'm not a God of confusion. this is to say we are going to go through some things in life we can't explain but I won't you to know that God said I will give you peace that transcends all of man understanding..

That we are persecuted, but not forsaken. Persecution to go through torment be it physical, or mental. but
there is a but for you to God says you have not been forsaken, oh I feel like preaching now, Cause I can
remember when I was down and out there was a God that
put a but in my life, FOR THE DRUG ADDICT THERE'S A
BUT, A HIGH LIKE NO OTHER, THE ALCOHOLIC THERE'S A
BUT, A DRUNK YOU'VE NEVER SEEN, FOR THE SICK, THERE'S
BUT, A HEALING LIKE NO ONE HAS EVER SEEN, AND FOR YOU
WHO HAVE BEEN LOST IN THE WORLD THERE'S A BUT FOR YOU
TO, THE BUT THAT SAYS SATAN YOU ALMOST HAD BUT YOU LET
ME GET TO THE ALTER, CANCER YOU ALMOST HAD ME , BUT
YOU LET ME GET TO THE ALTER, ADULTERY YOU JUST ABOUT
HAD ME BUT YOU LET ME GET TO MY KNEES, ALL I WANT TO
SAY IS WHEN LIFE IS BRINGING YOU DOWN JUST LOOK TO THE
HILLS FROM WHENCE COMETH YOUR HELP AND I PROMISE THERE
WILL BE BUT IN YOUR LIFE, I DARE YOU, COME ON I DARE
YOU TO TRY HIM, THERE IS A BUT FOR YOU AME, AMEN,
amen,amen, HALLELUJAH!!!!!

At this time we will prepare to show our appreciation
for the but God has put into our lives the trustees
will come to take up this mornings offering. thank you
God bless. Trustees In Charge

It is time for prayer how many know that prayer
changes things, how many know that God listens and
moves upon the prayers of the righteous.

Heavenly father, the Father of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. The Father that sits on High and Looks down low, the Father that sticks closer than any brother. We thank you for the but, we thank you for the love you showed us Lord now we pray that bless all those who are underneath the sound of my weak voice, touch them bless them with the blessing you see they stand in the need of, some healing, some peace and just need a listening ear,and some just your love,we love and thank you and if you would answer just a few of these request we will be sure to give your name all the honor and all the glory counting and receiving it has being done in Jesus name Amen, Amen, and Amen.

Now as we prepare to leave May the countenance of the Father rest rule and abide With you now hence forth and forever more and let the redeem of the Lord say,

Amen

I am Glad I was not there.

Imagine Jesus saying that. There are things that transpire because
God sees our deep need to know Him better. We may possess to a high
degree the three things below,

Mental ascent
Verbal affirmation
Visible and verifiable consecration

However, these do not bring us to truly knowing Him. Listen to the
Words of Martha and Mary,

"Then said Martha unto Jesus, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my
brother had not died." John 11:21

"Then when Mary was come where Jesus was, and saw him, she fell down
at his feet, saying unto him, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my
brother had not died." John 11:32

His Disciples had Mental assent, Verbal affirmation and Visible
consecration, but they did not get it. Much like us. Many times,
God allows things to happen in our lives to bring us to a point of
truly understanding him. This understanding is realized, when
something dies.

Lazarus was an object lesson. He was sick, he died, was mourned,
wrapped in grave clothes, placed in a tomb, a large stone was placed
in front of it. For four days, his body, his dead, decaying body
waited. Jesus could have shown up two days after his funeral, but
he waited two more days. No matter when he would have showed up,
Lazarus was still dead. He waited two more days for one reason it
would seem. To demonstrate the power to give life to a dead thing.

"And I am glad for your sakes that I was not there, to the intent ye
may believe;" John 11:15 KJV

God wants you to know something about him that can only truly be
appreciated by experience. In this story, Lazarus is the object
lesson. In your life, the object it applies to could be many things.

Lazarus may be a promise, a longstanding prayer, a dream or
ministry. Lazarus and his experience you may identify with feeling
without life, confined in a dark place, wrapped in the garments of
death, even your circumstance and nature stinking because of the
hopelessness of your situation.

This morning in preparation the Lord spoke the things below to me to
share with you.

I will be a light to you in your dark place. I will bring healing to
your brokenness. If you will seek my face…. Watch and see what I
will do when you commit to seek, till ye find. When you knock,
until the door opens. To ask, until the answer comes. When they have
buried it. When it has been sealed behind a rock. When the band has
played and the crying has happened. Just because it is dead, don't
mean your promise will stay dead. Sometimes things have to die to
live. I am the resurrection and the life, though it were dead, yet
shall it live!

"Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into
the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth
forth much fruit."

Your Promise, your dream, your ministry may be dead. However, that
is the best place for it, for it could never truly live, until you
have truly died.

I hear the voice of the Lord calling your name "Come Forth"

In Him, By Him, Through Him,

Scott Phillips

Becoming a Minister

Becoming a ULC Minister

Becoming a Pastor with ULC or anyone else, was not my first desire. Back in the early 90’s when I first started an on-line ministry directed toward the Gay, Lesbian and Transgendered community, I wanted to find a mainline Pastor for the ministry. But even though a couple did join the ministry, they were not willing to become its Pastor. I waited several years searching for a willing Pastor, but since there were none, I began looking into being ordained by some church myself.

You would think that churches would want to do whatever they could to spread the “Good News”, but you soon find that with most, it is their bank account they are looking to spread. If you are willing to pad their account with thousands of dollars, they will hand you a piece of paper saying you are a Pastor. But even then, you must preach according to their doctrine, or they take their worthless paper back!

The last choice I had, though maybe it should have been the first, was to find one of the internet churches who are willing to ordain without attending their seminary, or paying a lot of money. Even with this choice, most insisted you preach and run your church according to their doctrine. One of the few exceptions, was ULC I may not agree with everything ULC teaches, but my church (internet ministry for now) is my own. No one tells me what doctrine I must have, or what I must preach, or even who I can marry. This is one of the very few churches where you can run your church according to what you know to be the Truth.

So it is here, with the “Universal Life Church” that I came to be ordained. Though I still believe that folks should be ordained to the office which they were called, whether that is Apostle, Prophet, Pastor, Teacher or Evangelist; for now there is still only the one office recognized by the churches and the government, that of Pastor. Maybe one day they will wake up, and a man or woman will be able to be ordained to the office which they were called.

For now we will all become Pastors and then continue on with the work we were called to do. For me, that is to reach out to those who are where I once was, and to those who have been rejected by the church for whatever reason. Until such time as I can open a physical church, it will remain an internet ministry. But at all times, it will stay totally separate from the government, even though that means no non profit org. or legal corp. status. A place where the Truth is taught, and God’s word is followed.
