Spontaneity

We all want to be spontaneous. We want to grab life with vigor and shake all we can out of it!

But, some of us think too much. Our obsessive desire to analyze everything to death grabs hold and we in turn ruin many if life’s special moments. The spontaneous moments.

Here’s an example. Two individuals are faced with a romantic weekend away. Let’s see how they each respond:

The Truly Spontaneous person ?

Wow, a weekend in the mountains!

I’ll bet this is going to be an adventure. I can’t wait!

This is fun. The room is nice.

The weather is great. My partner is being very romantic.

Wow, what a fabulous time!

The trip was great. The romance ?? Great!

I can’t wait till we get another opportunity like that.

The Overly Analytical Person ?

My partner has asked me to go to the mountains for the weekend.

I wonder what he/she is after.

How should I dress? After all I don’t want seem too eager do I?

Good thing I brought all my clothes cause the weather is better than I’d thought.

What does my partner expect? After all the room was designed for sex.

Does he/she think I’m the kind of person to fall head over heals for a romantic room?

Why is he/she doting on me? Why doesn’t he/she pay this much attention to me at home?

Well, that was pretty good! I’ve still got the moves!

What was that all about?

What am I supposed to do now? Does he/she think that one romantic weekend will turn me into his/her drooling love slave?

Just how much am I willing to give up for the occasional romp in the mountains?

Exactly who does he/she think they’re kidding?

Well, if he/she thinks so little of my character, they can just go to Hell!?

An exaggeration? Unfortunately not. Too many people think exactly like this and as a result they miss out on a lot that life has to offer.

Ask yourself which person you are in the scenario outlined above. If you look deeply enough a lot will see at least part of themselves in the second individual.

Try not to over think life. Here is one way to start:

Plan a trip by not planning it. Pick a destination and make a room reservation; nothing more.

Once there, look at the paper to see what’s happening in town, or ask the staff at the motel. Explore the area. Get lost and find your way back by stopping at all the interesting little places you see along the way.

Regain the inquisitive child in you and relax and enjoy the adventure!

Grab life and shake it, my friends! What falls out may surprise you.

God provides us with so many opportunities to live …. don’t drown them with your own insecurity. Be spontaneous!

> activation of the patterns of perfection from the Causal Body of God

> be able to withstand more Light.

God's strength relies on servant obedience

Have you discovered that life hurts, that it's unfair and that it just keeps coming no matter what you do?

And it's the mundane, everyday stuff, such as relationship issues at work or home, that wears us down.

While it's been said somewhere, "The things we face will either break us or strengthen us," in the context of my Christian walk, I want both, not one or the other. Here's what I mean:

If I allow the unpleasant stuff I face everyday to break down my natural self-reliance to overcome them, forcing me to face the reality that I'm not cracked up to be what I think I am, then I'm in position to gain the heavenly perspective I need to become the vessel through which God works. Thus, this enables me to overcome the stuff that would hinder me and accomplishes God's purposes in and through me.

I know that's convoluted to the natural mind and makes no logical sense, but as a Christian, it brings life that has eternal value to me and to others. And it's that perspective God is in the business of teaching us and the lesson we need to learn and not run from.

Scripture teaches strength through weakness (1 Cor. 12:9), meaning when I surrender my self-reliance and where-with-all to God's purposes, then God can work through me. That doesn't mean I put aside my natural gifts, strengths or abilities, but I let God lead, direct and use them for his purposes.

If, however, I go out into the world thinking I'm going to conquer it and overcome the obstacles I face with my strength, I will be bloodied by that battle. I become jaded, resigned, bitter, resentful and weak in spirit because life will chew me up and spit me out -- because life does that.

So for the disciple, God is into changing that perspective of self-reliance, that "it's all about me" excuse that fills my life, like he did with Moses (Exodus 3:1).

When Moses was called by God (the burning bush), God waited for Moses to step forward. Only then did God speak to him, and in so doing began teaching Moses about himself, followed by the mandate to go and set his people free, knowing Moses' character full well.

Through his obedience, Moses learned about the nature and character of God, not only through God's purposes but the power of God through him to accomplish those purposes. But Moses wouldn't know that until after the fact, after he "gave in" to God. There was no up-front assurance other than "I will be with you."

God works the same way today. He teaches us about himself through his purposes for us. The collateral benefit we get is to know God by what he does through us and those experiences change us, through this obedience our perspective changes as did Moses'. But like Moses, we won't know that until after the fact.

We go from "Who, me, God?" with all the fear, anxiety and excuses to "Yes, God" with all the assurance that God will be with us. But there's a step in between we must take. Will we cooperate?

You see the only way the world is overcome is by the power of God (John 16: 33) and that power is through us as God works through us according to his purposes (1 John 5: 4, 5). The wrong perspective results in spiritual impotence and the only cure for that is obedience.

I've been thinking...

I have been thinking about something I would like to share with you.

It occurred to me the other day something that I have fallen prey

to. We have started a new church here in Clinton, Ms. We have

had limited number of visitors from Pentecostal background, so many

are not sure what to expect exactly.

A benefit that I did not fully appreciate previously, I now

understand. When you take an existing church, no matter it's

history, there are possibly hundreds and maybe thousands of people

who have walked through the doors, many multitudes have prayed, been

healed, worked with, been related to, backslidden, raised around,

ect connected to an EXISTING Local church.

This is a benefit I realized pretty quick we did not have. We have

been here in Clinton for about 18 months, in fact we started our

"church in a day" a year ago November 12th and dedicated the

Building about 10 months ago. Our location is on a major road. We

have put out thousands of fliers, run adds in papers, had front page

coverage in our paper, even made it on a couple of television

stations in addition to being on the Radio for 12 of the 18 months

we have been here. Honestly, the results from these efforts have

been considerable less than I would desire. (I understand it is a

sowing process.) We have had a fare number of visitors considering

we are a New Pentecostal Church in a very Baptist town. I am

guessing we have had somewhere around 200-250 people who have

visited with us. Maybe more.

When we do have visitors, we try to put our best foot forward.

Often I feel like the smallness of some of our crowds is a little

off putting, like on a midweek we might have 10, and two or three

visitors come in, they sometimes seem to feel a little awkward.

So what do we do, we try to present ourselves as loving, kind,

intelligent, concerned and interesting. I confess in the back of my

mind I have been concerned of what they thought about "US". It

occurred to me the other day that I need to quit worrying about what

they think about "US" and focus our efforts on helping them be

impressed with our God.

That is the crux of my rumination here. It is a hole we can fall in

when we are overly concerned about what they think about "US" and

how we do things, when our focus of prayer is, "Lord, help me to

help them see you and your wonderful lovely way! Help me to

illuminate in their spirit the power of Faith and Healing in your

Name." It does not matter if they become members of our church,

but that they hear the Only Saving Message, Feel the Grace of God

and know that there are people that love THEM.

People are not near as concerned about us, as they are themselves

and how we and our Faith will impact them.

The word in fact states, "He uses the foolish things to confound the

wise and the weak things to confound the mighty." Our ability to

reach our culture, both small and great, rich and poor will stem

from our ability to let God flow through us. We can improve

ourselves in learning, practice and pursuit of excellence. However

all of these are simply disciplines, no matter how important, but at

the end of the Day it is GOD that will draw people, save people,

deliver people and bring them, plant them and establish them in THE

CHURCH. Pharaoh was not impressed with Daniels ability to speak or

dress, but it was his obvious connection with God.

My prayer is simply this,

Empower me with Wisdom and the Ability to Reflect and Communicate

the Glory and Power to those who we come in Contact.

It is about Him. I have purposed in my heart to quit worrying

about what someone would think about us as a church and me as a

preacher. Sure we are going to continue to put our best foot

forward, but our focus is to communicate and iluminate HIM.

The Answer to every problem and the source of salvation is,

In Him, By HIm, Through Him.

Hardships Prepare and Teach

Being forced into hard circumstances or situations gives us a new perspective on life. Things we once valued no longer hold the same value. Things that were of lesser concern become very important, and what we once thought important no longer holds such importance.

These hard circumstances allow us to identify with the sufferings of others. They keeps us from having a shallow view of the hardships of others and allows us to truly identify with them. Those who speak of such trials from no experience, often judge others who have had such hardship. It is a superficiality of life experience that often permeates this shallow perspective.

Those who have walked in and through hard times immediately have a kinship with others who have walked there also. They do not need to explain; they merely look at one another with mutual respect and admiration for their common experience. They know that these trials/life experiences worked a special thing in them. This trials and lessons help perceive the life trials of others.

It is impossible to appreciate any “valley” experience while you are in it. However, once you have reached the “top of the mountain”, you are able to appreciate what terrain you have passed through. You marvel at what you were able to walk through. Troubled times have yielded more than you ever thought possible. You are able to appreciate the beauty of the experience and lay aside the sorrow and pain it may have produced.

These hard circumstances and lessons work in us for a greater purpose . . . to be able to recognize what others are going through . . . to have compassion and understanding for them. . . to comfort and help them as a fellow human being.

(One cannot truly understand another until they have walked in the other’s shoes.)

Loving our fellow brothers and sisters . . . as we love ourselves.

Where have we heard this before?We serve . . . they later serve . . . everybody serves . . . a very simple WIN/WIN equation.

> that the Immaculate Concept is the Divine Blueprint of our full

> Divine Potential. When we were first breathed into existence from the

> Heart of our Father-Mother God, we were encoded and empowered with

> the fullness of the Causal Body of God. This means, literally and

> tangibly, all that our Father-Mother God has is ours. We lost

> awareness of this profound Truth when we fell into chaos and

> confusion and became entrapped in the fear-based consciousness of our human egos.

Now, all of that is being reversed. Once again, the portal in Bali is going to be opened to full breadth. Mother Mary and Archangel Gabriel are then going to breathe the Flame of the Immaculate Concept through the portal into the genetic structures of our Twelve Solar Strands of DNA. When this Sacred Fire enters our DNA, it will activate the Divine Potential that was encoded there at the time of our inception.

These codes have been dormant since the portal of the Immaculate Concept over Bali was closed after the fall. This is the main reason Humanity has so easily accepted, and acted out of, the erroneous belief that we are worthless sinners and worms in the dust.

Mother Mary and Archangel Gabriel cannot just wave a wand and open the portal above Bali. In alignment with Universal Law, the call for assistance must come from the realm where the assistance is needed. In order to accomplish this facet of the Divine Plan, Lightworkers in the physical plane serving on behalf of all Humanity must ask for this Divine Intervention and offer ourselves as a Cup, a Holy Grail, through which the Light of God will flow to open the portal of the Flame of the Immaculate Concept.

Lightworkers around the world are being called to assist the Beings of Light in the Realms of Illumined Truth and to serve as surrogates on behalf of Humanity. There will be approximately 100 Lightworkers from around the world who will travel to Bali on a sacred pilgrimage. We will serve as physical transformers to open the portal of the Flame of the Immaculate Concept. In addition, hundreds of thousands of Lightworkers from around the world will join in consciousness with the Lightworkers in Bali and project their Light into the portal in Bali from myriad locations on the planet.

In synchronicity with the 11:11:11 cycle unfolding on Earth, this activity of Light will involve an eleven-day window of opportunity. For the five days preceding November 11, 2005, 11:11:11, and the five days following that momentous day, Mother Mary and Archangel Gabriel will orchestrate the opening of the 5th-Dimensional portal of the Flame of the Immaculate Concept in Bali, and the activation of the Divine Potential within the Twelve Solar Strands of Humanity’s DNA. During these eleven days, we will be working in the Eternal Moment of Now. Anytime you can join with us in consciousness and add your Light to this Activity of Light will be right and perfect. Ask your I AM Presence for guidance, and you will know how best to weave your magnificent Light into this Divine Plan. There is no right or wrong way to do this. The Divine Intention in your heart is what matters.

The five days leading up to November 11, November 6-10, will be final days of cleansing and preparation. During these days, listen to your I AM Presence. Pray, meditate, be in nature, open your heart to God’s Infinite Love and be at Peace. On November 11th, the portal of the Immaculate Concept in Bali will be permanently opened to full breadth, and Mother Mary and Archangel Gabriel will begin flooding the planet and all her Life with the 5th-Dimensional Flame of the Immaculate Concept. This is a day of wonder and joyous celebration. The next five days, November 12-16, will be days for assimilating the Flame of the Immaculate Concept and allowing the sacred space for the activation of the patterns of perfection from the Causal Body of God within your DNA structures. By the end of the eleventh day, your Earthly bodies will be calibrated to a higher frequency, and you will be able to withstand more Light.

And so it is.

A Story to Live By

My brother-in-law opened the bottom drawer of my sister's bureau and lifted out a tissue-wrapped package. "This," he said, "is not a slip. This is lingerie." He discarded the tissue and handed me the slip. It was exquisite; silk, handmade and trimmed with a cobweb of lace. The price tag with an astronomical figure on it was still attached. "Jan bought this the first time we went to New York, at least 8 or 9 years ago. She never wore it. She was saving it for a special occasion. Well, I guess this is the occasion." He took the slip from me and put it on the bed with the other clothes we were taking to the mortician. His hands lingered on the soft material for a moment, then he slammed the drawer shut and turned to me. "Don't ever save anything for a special occasion. Every day you're alive is a special occasion."

I remembered those words through the funeral and the days that followed when I helped him and my niece attend to all the sad chores that follow an unexpected death. I thought about them on the plane returning to California from the Midwestern town where my sister's family lives. I thought about all the things that she hadn't seen or heard or done. I thought about the things that she had done without realizing that they were special. I'm still thinking about his words, and they've changed my life.

I'm reading more and dusting less. I'm sitting on the deck and admiring the view without fussing about the weeds in the garden.

I'm spending more time with my family and friends and less time in committee meetings. Whenever possible, life should be a pattern of experience to savor, not endure. I'm trying to recognize these moments now and cherish them.

I'm not "saving" anything; we use our good china and crystal for every special event-such as losing a pound, getting the sink unstopped, the first camellia blossom.

I wear my good blazer to the market if I feel like it. My theory is ifI look prosperous, I can shell out $28.49 for one small bag of groceries without wincing.

I'm not saving my good perfume for special parties; clerks in hardware stores and tellers in banks have noses that function as well as my party-going friends'.

"Someday" and "one of these days" are losing their grip on my vocabulary. If it's worth seeing or hearing or doing, I want to see and hear and do it now. I'm not sure what my sister would have done had she known that she wouldn't be here for the tomorrow we all take for granted.

It's those little things left undone that would make me angry if I knew that my hours were limited. Angry because I put off seeing good friends whom I was going to get in touch with-someday. Angry because I hadn't written certain letters that I intended to write-one of these days.  Angry and sorry that I didn't tell my husband and daughter often enough how much I truly love them.

I'm trying very hard not to put off, hold back, or save anything that would add laughter and luster to our lives. And every morning when I open my eyes, I tell myself that it is special. Every day, every minute, every breath truly is...a gift from God.

Ministers and Money

Ministers are to serve the people of the Churches and to teach the Gospel of Christ.

Second they are to be a servant all people Next he is to Preach the Gospel of Christ and that is to Love all people of all the earth.

Now the two Commandment’s that he gave us is to Love GOD with all your Heart, soul and mind.

Second one is to Love your neighbour as yourself this is not the way it is in the Bible but to get the Bible verse go to Matt. 23:37-40 that is the two commandment’s that JESUS CHRIST to us all and I beleave it is to be tought that way and money is said to be the root to all evil, but that is not how I read it.

The love of money is the root so Love in that way is not good at all. We need to put all our Faith in the LORD and not in Money.

You may say I say that because I don’t have any that is the true at this time, but it has not always been like that.

It is now I am happy now that I learn that money doesn’t make me love any better.

Only true love is when you thrust in the LORD and him only I thank you very much for the time that was given to me and I THANK YOU MORE THAN YOU KNOW.
